One summer evening, in between years at college, I was babysitting for a family and the mom had left a random assortment of ingredients for me to make dinner with. I decided to see what I could do with some chicken, honey, and McCormick Montreal Chicken Seasoning and ended up creating one of my and my family's favorite, easy-to-make meals!

I start with as many chicken breasts as I need to feed my family. Usually for 4 of us, I use 2-3 chicken breasts.

I trim any fat off them, then I cut them into approximately 1/4-1/2 inch thick strips.

Then I cut them into 2-3 pieces depending on how long the strips are to make similarly sized pieces.

Once the chicken breasts are cut, I drizzle them with some olive oil.

Then I transfer them to a frying pan that I have started to warm over medium heat. Once all of the chicken is in the pan, I spread the pieces out to make sure they cook evenly.

Next, I drizzle honey over the chicken until each piece has a good amount of honey covering it.

Then I shake the Montreal Chicken Seasoning over the honey-coated chicken until each piece is covered as well.

Next, I turn each piece of chicken over and do the same, covering each piece with honey, then seasoning.

Now it's time to wait for the chicken to cook and the honey and seasoning to thicken up into a delicious, sticky coating for the chicken. Keep in mind, honey is sugar, and sugar burns, so watch your chicken closely. Toss the pieces of chicken to make sure they get coated and and fully cooked. The sauce will slowly start to thicken. This is when it's important to watch it closely. You want the sauce to thicken, and your chicken to start to have a golden-brown color.

Now the amount of honey and Montreal Chicken Seasoning you use is completely up to your preference. For example, last night, my dad asked for more sauce because he liked it so much, so I just used more of both the honey and seasoning.

Once you have achieved the golden brown color of both the chicken and the sauce, you're chicken is done! Transfer it to a plate and spoon any extra sauce over it. I usually serve it with rice pilaf or mac and cheese and a veggie, like peas or green beans. And there you go, a super easy and yummy meal you can make for lunch or dinner any night of the week!

Enjoy!
